- 7 tomatoes

- Start by cooking the tomatoes and garlic until they develop a light char. You can do this by placing them on a grill or roasting them in an oven until the skins start to blister and darken slightly. This will enhance the flavours of the chutney.
- Once the tomatoes and garlic are cooked, transfer them to a jar or a blender.
- Add the green chillies, salt, and lime juice to the jar or blender as well. Adjust the amount of salt according to your taste preference.
- Blend the mixture at a medium speed for about a minute or until you achieve a smooth and well-combined consistency. If using a jar, use an immersion blender or a hand blender to blend the ingredients together.
- Once blended, transfer the chutney to a serving bowl or container.
- To add a fresh and vibrant touch, garnish the chutney with some chopped coriander leaves.
- Your delicious tomato chutney is now ready to be enjoyed! Serve it as a condiment alongside your favorite dishes or use it as a flavorful dip. It pairs well with snacks, sandwiches, or even as a side to Indian curries.
