Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
Ingredients for the Bolognese sauce
- 1 large onion
- 6 garlic cloves
- 500 g minced meat
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp beef stock powder
- 1-2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp Italian herbs
- 1 zucchini
- 1 carrot
- 1 celery stick
- 1 red capsicum
- fresh basil
- oregano
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
Pasta ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 tbsp water
- grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
Preparation
- Saute garlic and onion.
- Brown the beef.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and spices, give it a good stir then simmer for 20 minutes.
- To prepare pasta add flour to the pasta maker and slowly add egg, oil and water mix.
- Boil the pasta.
- Add pasta water ( if needed) to the Bolognese sauce and let it simmer.
- Add cooked pasta into the sauce and mix well.
- Serve hot with the grated parmesan cheese.
