A nice, fluffy curried rice is ready in minutes! This is a simple pilaf-style recipe that combines everyday curry powder with extra spices for a punch of flavour.
The addition of beef broth, peas, or corns ensures that your curry will be ready to eat in a short amount of time.

Veggie Curried Rice

- 1 brown onion, peeled and halved
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 30 g olive oil
- 400 g basmati rice, rinsed
- 700 g homemade beef broth (or vegetable broth)
- 120 g frozen peas
- 120 g frozen corn
- 2 tbsp curry powder

Preparation
- Place onions and garlic in your jug. Chop for 6 seconds on speed 4.
- Scrape down the sides, add butter and sauté for 6 minutes, at 115 degrees Celsius on speed 1, using the reverse option.
- Add to your jar 400grs of Basmati rice, the frozen vegetables, stock and curry powder. Cook for 9 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius on reverse speed 1.
- After that let sits for 5 minutes and then serve hot with stew/coconut chicken or even with greek yogurt.
