This delectable vegan dessert has a rich and intense flavor. One of the primary benefits that vegan chocolate mousse has over regular chocolate mousse is its lower saturated fat content, which makes this a healthy option for those who are looking to avoid dairy and other animal-derived ingredients in their diet.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 300 g silken tofu
  • 100 g chocolate bar
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup or alternative of your choice
  • 3 tbsp protein powder
  • 1 pinch vanilla extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • Melt the chocolate bar in a double boiler or in the microwave.
  • Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend for a few seconds until you get a smooth cream.
  • To thicken, use protein powder, which is recommended: super good, and added a little protein to our dessert without altering the taste. Otherwise, even just 2 tablespoons of oatmeal, almond or similar will work.
  • Do not worry if the consistency still seems a little liquid, we will let it rest in a cool place and it will firm up!
  • Transfer the cream to the single portions of your choice (a glass, a champagne glass, a cocotte) and leave to rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  • At this point, serve with a decoration of fresh and/or dried fruit, grated coconut, unsweetened cocoa, or chocolate flakes.
  • Voila!
