THAI CHICKEN RICE SAUCE WITH GINGER
Ingredients
Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves
- fresh ginger
- 1 onion
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 50 g soy sauce
- 50 g rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- fresh cilantro
- 100 ml water
- 1/2 kg chicken breasts
- 2 yellow bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 2 carrots
- 100 g fresh mushrooms
Instructions
Preparation of the Sauce
- Add the garlic cloves, fresh ginger and onion into a blender jug. Make sure to quarterly cut the onion. Add the rest of the ingredients (sesame oil, soya sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin, corn starch, water and cilantro - Add a lot of cilantro for a way better taste!
- Blend on high speed for 15 seconds only!
Preparation of the chicken breasts and veggies
- Use green/red/yellow pepper, carrots, fresh mushrooms, broccoli and much more! Some canned sprouts or baby corn also can add a lot of taste to your stir-fry!
- First fry the chicken breasts (cut into small pieces), then add the vegetables - keep the vegetables a bit crunchy for a better texture.
- Finally, pour the sauce already prepared. Cook all together and enjoy with steamed rice or egg-fried rice!
