Savoury Italian Bread
Ingredients
Ingredients 500g
- 250 ml milk, scalded and cooled to 27C
- 1 tbsp honey
- 20 g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 tsp salt
- 300 g bread flour
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
Add to the automatic fruit and nut dispenser or at the beeps during the knead 2 cycle:
- 30 g olives, chopped
Ingredients 750g
- 200 ml milk, scalded and cooled to 27C
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey
- 30 g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 450 g bread flour
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
Add to the automatic fruit and nut dispenser or at the beeps during the knead 2 cycle:
- 40 g olives, chopped
Ingredients 1kg
- 415 ml milk, scalded and cooled to 27C
- 2 tbsp honey
- 40 g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 2 tsp salt
- 600 g bread flour
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
Add to the automatic fruit and nut dispenser or at the beeps during the knead 2 cycle:
- 50 g olives, chopped
Instructions
Preparation
- Place ingredients into the bread pan in the exact order listed in the recipe.
- Wipe spills from the outside of the bread pan.
- Insert the bread pan into position in the baking chamber and close the lid.
- Press SELECT to access the desired setting as listed in the following recipes.
- Press LOAF SIZE to select 1000g or 750g if required.
- Press CRUST to select the DARK, MEDIUM, LIGHT, or RAPID function if required.
- Press START | PAUSE to commence operation.
- At the end of the setting, press STOP.
- Remove bread from the bread machine and bread pan. Cool bread on a rack.
