Raw Oatmeal is naturally sweet, but it also has a very neutral taste that works well with most ingredients. It’s full of fibre and protein, and helps your body feel regular, clean, and energized all day long.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 apple (or equivalent to 1 cup of cut apples)
  • 1 tbsp raisins

Instructions

Preparation

  • The night before, place the water, raisins, and then the steel-cut oats into your Optimum high-speed blender. Let them sit overnight. In the morning, blend.
  • While the water and oats are blending, chop the apple and then add it to the blender, too. Continue blending until the oatmeal is a nice, smooth texture. Enjoy!
  • I love to top this oatmeal with more whole raisins and a sprinkle of cinnamon. This recipe for raw oatmeal makes for a very filling breakfast. You don’t have to pre-soften the ingredients, but it makes for creamier, softer oatmeal.
