Patatas Bravas is a traditional Spanish dish made with thinly sliced potatoes that are either cooked or baked, then covered in a sauce of your choice. This Spanish delicacy is really easy to make and the results are mouthwatering.   • 350 g potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 400 g tinned tomatoes
  • 12 drop tabasco
  • salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 0.7 l water

Preparation

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces, then put them in the steam basket. Add 0.7l water and put the steaming basket in the ThermoCook.
  • Let it cook at 30°C for 25 minutes.
  • Then pour out the rest of the water.
  • Sauté the potatoes in a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Peel the garlic cloves then put them in the Thermocook. Ensure the blade assembly is attached. Then blend at speed 10 for 10 seconds. Add the olive oil and let it cook at 120°C for 3 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes, the Pimentón, Tabasco, the vinegar, the sugar, and salt, then let it cook at 95°C for 20 minutes with the lid closed.
