- 600 g fresh pasta lasagna sheets, cut into 20cm squares
- 2 cup fresh ricotta cheese
- 250 g grated provolone cheese
- 250 g grated mozzarella cheese
- 250 g romano cheese
- 60 g milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp fresh basil chiffonade
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- pre-made marinara sauce
- shredded mozzarella
- grated reggiano parmigiano cheese

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 175° C
- Combine the cheeses, milk, egg, basil, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and mix to make the cheese filling.
- Lay the sheets of pasta flat and spoon a line of cheese filling down the length of each sheet. Roll to close. Place in a 20cm X 20cm casserole dish with 1 cup of marinara sauce.
- Place each manicotti, seam side down.
- Top with another cup of marinara sauce and the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmigiano-Reggiano.
- Bake in the oven until bubbly (about 45 minutes).
