Irresistible Homemade Crunchy Focaccia Recipe

  • 500 g all purpose flour
  • 2 cup warm water
  • 2 tsp instant east
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp olive oil


  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary leaves
  • flaky sea salt



  • In a small bowl, mix the warm water and instant yeast together. Set aside for a few minutes until the yeast is activated and becomes frothy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and instant yeast mixture. Mix on medium speed (speed 5) for 2 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Grease a baking pan with olive oil.
  • Transfer the dough to the prepared baking pan and press it down to cover the bottom of the pan. Drizzle the olive oil over the dough and sprinkle with chopped rosemary and salt.
  • Cover the dough with a clean towel and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until it is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
