How to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Burger

- 450 g ground chicken
- 4 slices of bacon, chopped
- 8-9 bacon strips
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 brioche buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- lettuce and tomato, for serving
Ingredients for the Ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter milk
- 3 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 3 tbsp dill
- 2 tbsp chives
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation
- Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Make a bacon weave by laying three strips of bacon horizontally with the long edges touching on a piece of wax paper. Fold the middle piece of bacon in half back onto itself. Place a fourth strip of bacon vertically across the top bacon slice, middle gap and bottom bacon.
- Using a rolling pin, gently roll over the bacon weave to bring all of the edges together and create a uniform thickness. Remove and discard the top piece of wax paper.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. And cook until crispy.
- Make a fresh ground chicken with the help of the Optimum Bon Appetit stand mixer.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the chicken mixture into four patties.
- Place the patties on the preheated skillet and use a flat spatula to smash them down into thin patties. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt.
- Toast the brioche buns.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty with cheese on each bottom bun, then topping with bacon, ranch, lettuce, and tomato. Add the top bun and enjoy!
