Homemade Pumpkin Seeds Butter

Ingredients

  • 600 g pumpkin seeds (also called pepitas)
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 160C
  2. Spread pumpkin seeds over a baking tray and bake for 10 – 15 minutes. Keep an eye on them and toss them around every 4 – 5 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool and then add to a high-speed blender or food processor.
  4. Blend together until reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
  5. Transfer to a glass jar, this can be stored in the fridge for a couple of months.
