Homemade Pesto With Chicken Pasta

  • 250 g chicken fillet in pieces
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 150 g green asparagus
  • 150 g peas
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 garlic clove

Pesto ingredients

  • 1 basil plant
  • 30 g roasted pine nuts
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 50-75 ml olive oil



  • Blend together the basil with the pine nuts, cheese and oil until smooth.
  • Brown the chicken breast with garlic and Italian herbs in olive oil.
  • Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the preparation method on the package.
  • Cut the asparagus into pieces of 2-3 cm and cook in salted water until al dente (very short 2-3 min).
  • Add the bell pepper and asparagus to the chicken and fry. Then add the peas and fry together until cooked.
  • Add cooked pasta and pesto sauce. Mix well together.
  • Garnish with parmesan cheese and enjoy!
