Homemade Nutella Spread

- 250 g skinless hazelnuts
- 30 g cocoa powder
- 90 g honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 1-2 tbsp peanut oil

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and place the hazelnuts on a baking sheet. Roast them for about 5 minutes or until they are slightly browned. You can also use a pan to roast the nuts if you prefer.
- Transfer the roasted hazelnuts to a food processor or blender and blend until it turns into a smooth paste. Be sure to scrape down the sides of the container every now and then to ensure that all of the nuts are ground evenly.
- Add the other ingredients, such as cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla extract, to the hazelnut paste and blend again until everything is well combined and smooth.
- Pour the hazelnut spread into a jar and store it at room temperature. Avoid storing it in the fridge as this can cause it to become grainy in texture.
