Many times people confuse crepes for pancakes even though crepes is the French word for pancake. The difference arises in the ingredients and preparation. Traditionally made American pancakes are thicker and fluffier as compared to French pancakes. French Crepes are thin and they are served for breakfast in most homes or as a dessert. You can serve it for breakfast with fillings such as fresh fruit, Nutella, and sprinkles. Others prefer serving their crepes with fillings such as whipped cream or ham and cheese. For French Crepes, the good thing is that you are able to make them ahead of time for instance you start by making the batter and keep it in the refrigerator. Pre-made crepes can also be stored in the refrigerator then you can just take them out later and reheat them for use. Serve your French Crepes while rolled for the presentation because they always look attractive and tastier from a distance even before you try them.
