DIY Christmas Rice Krispie Treats

  • 250 g water
  • 60 g gelatin
  • 200 g honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 500 g chocolate rice krispies

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Add water to the Thermocook bowl. Add gelatin to the water and stir to mix the gelatin in so no dry lumps remain.
  • Add your butterfly tool. Lace honey and salt in the bowl. Place the lid in place but remove the measuring cup and place a small steaming basket on top. Mix for 10 minutes at 50 C speed 1.
  • Allow cooling to be lukewarm. When cool blend for 12 minutes speed 4.
  • Add vanilla and any food colouring halfway through.
  • Mix with the Rice Krispies. Place in the baking pan and let it set.
  • Cut out shapes you prefer and decorate to your liking.
  • Enjoy!
