Deviled eggs and egg spread are delicious, low-fat snacks that can be prepared in minutes and can be a delicious addition to any meal. Deviled eggs and egg spread are a great way to use up any leftover hard-boiled eggs in your fridge.
Deviled Eggs and Egg Spread
Ingredients

- 1 pepper
- 6 eggs
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 1/2 tsp parsley
- 3 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt
Egg Spread Ingredients
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 1 chive
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
Deviled Eggs preparation
- Boil the eggs(approx. 8-10 minutes), remove them, and peel them off immediately with cold water.
- Cut hard-boiled eggs in half lengthways. Carefully lift out the yolk with a spoon and mash it with a fork in a plate or bowl.
- Mix the yolk mixture well with the sour cream, mustard and cream cheese in the bowl and season well with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar.
- Put the finished cream in a piping bag with a coarse nozzle and fill the empty halves of the egg with it. Garnish with parsley.
- In addition, each half of the egg can be garnished with sliced ham strips and/or finely sliced anchovy fillets (or caviar) and dill.
Egg Spread preparation
- Wash the chives, shake dry, sort and let dry on kitchen paper.
- Peel and dice the eggs. Cut the chives into the finest rolls.
- Put the eggs, chives, sour cream, pepper, lovage salt and salt in a bowl and stir. Season again to taste and portion.
