Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

Ingredients

  • 200 g salted butter
  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate
  • 2 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 2 cup chocolate chip
  • nutella

Preparation

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the salted butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  3. Add in the bicarbonate and plain flour and mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it out evenly.
  6. Use a spoon to dollop Nutella over the top of the batter, then swirl it in with a knife or toothpick.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cookie cake to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing it from the pan and slicing it into pieces.
