Cute Molang Strawberry Tart

- 60 g sugar
- 15 g corn starch
- 6 strawberries
- 235 g milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 pre-baked 9-inch tart shell

- toasted pistachio (optional)
- Molang meringue cookies (optional)
Instructions
Preparation
- In the Thermocook Essential, combine sugar and cornstarch on speed 5, and mix well.
- Add chopped strawberries, whole milk, vanilla extract, and egg yolks to the Thermocook and mix on speed 4 at 90°C for 9 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
- Transfer the custard to a shallow dish and cover the surface with cling wrap to prevent skin from forming.
- Allow the custard to cool for 10 minutes before refrigerating it for at least 2 hours.
- Once chilled, whisk the custard until smooth.
- Transfer the custard to a piping bag.
- To assemble pipe a layer of strawberry custard at the bottom of the pre-baked tart shell.
- Add the diced strawberries and toasted pistachios on top of the custard layer.
- Pipe another layer of strawberry custard on top to fill the tart shell.
- Decorate the top with sliced strawberries and meringue cookies.
- Refrigerate the tart for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving to set the custard.
- Serve and enjoy your Strawberry Custard Tart!
