Creamy Eggnog

- In a blender, combine the heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, ground nutmeg, bourbon (optional), and eggs.
- Secure the lid tightly on the blender.
- Blend the mixture on medium-high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture becomes creamy and frothy. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
- Once blended, taste the eggnog and adjust the sweetness, nutmeg, and bourbon to suit your preference. Blend again briefly to incorporate any adjustments.
- Pour the eggnog into a pitcher or container.
- Cover the pitcher or container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled.
- Before serving, give the eggnog a good stir to ensure all the flavours are well distributed.
- Pour the creamy eggnog into serving glasses or mugs. You can garnish each glass with a sprinkle of nutmeg or a cinnamon stick if desired.
