Chocolate Energy balls

- 1 cup almonds
- 1 1/2 cup dates
- sprinkle of peanuts
- 80 g dark chocolate

- In a food processor, finely chop the almonds until they have a crumbly texture.
- Add the dates to the food processor and blend until the mixture becomes sticky and well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl and break apart any larger pieces with your hands.
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces or use chocolate chips.
- Add the dark chocolate to the mixing bowl and mix well to distribute it evenly.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll them between your palms to form bite-sized balls.
- Optionally, roll the energy balls in a sprinkle of peanuts for extra flavour and texture.
- Place the chocolate energy balls on a lined tray or plate and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Once chilled, the chocolate energy balls are ready to be enjoyed! Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze them for longer-term storage.
