- 180 g rolled oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 small to medium ripe bananas
- 1.5 cup milk of choice
- 1-2 tsp vanilla extract
- 90 g honey

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Line a baking tray, preferably a brownie tray, with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the lined baking tray, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips generously over the batter, ensuring they are distributed evenly.
- Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cookie bars are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the tray from the oven and allow the bars to cool slightly. Carefully lift the parchment paper to transfer the cookie bars onto a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to cut the bars into squares or rectangular shapes.
- Serve and enjoy these delicious chocolate chip baked oat cookie bars! They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
