You can use roasted nuts if you like, these were the ‘raw’ kind although it’s hard to get really raw almonds bc you need to heat the fruit to get the nut out. Cashew Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashew nuts (soaked overnight)
  • 1 l water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Soak cashew nuts overnight or a minimum of 4 hours.
  2. Rinse and drain cashews.
  3. Add water, cashews and honey into a high-speed blender and blend for 30-60 seconds on a high speed.
  4. Drain the milk using a nut milk bag.
  5. Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 3 days.
